Almost every person on this planet have a Gmail account. We use Gmail daily for our person needs. Some of us use it for business purpose, some use it for education purpose and some use it to connect with people around the world. There are some features that Gmail provides that we are not aware of. In this post I will discuss some of these features
1. Using Different Kinds Of Stars To Organize Your Emails:
Gmail has provided 12 different kids of stars and symbols to organize your emails. You can use these stars and symbol to clearly identify your emails. Click gear icon , Go to general and scroll down, There you will find different kids of stars and symbol. Use it for your simplicity.
2.Delete Your Entire Inbox:
Cleaning up the entire inbox at time is possible in gmail. On the upper left side of the inbox there is checkbox , check that checkbox, the emails which are on current page will get selected and you will get another option to select all the emails. Click on that and your entire inbox email will get selected and click on delete , This will delete all of your emails from your inbox
.
3. Dots In Your Gmail Address Is Useless:
If email address is like abc.xyz@gmail.com, The dot is just useless, abcxyz@gmail.com or a.b.c.x.y.z@gmail.com is treated as same when you send a email. No matter among above which email address use, all emails go to same address.
4. Get Email Notification On Your Desktop:
Do you know you can get email notification directly to your desktop without using any software. You just need to enable this option in your Gmail setting. To do this Click on gear icon , go to settings, Under settings locate general , scroll down and locate Desktop notification.
